Who blinked and missed Spring?

It's practically Summer in Philadelphia. Potted plants abound, Royal Empress Trees are shedding, and music festivals are upon us.

You Do You performed at Some Kind of Jam 13 festival hosted by JibberJazz Productions late April (I also appeared with the Hoppin' John Orchestra). The day was beautiful until a midday thunder storm cut short our set. You Do You's next festival appearance will be May 19 at the South 9th Street Italian Market Festival. Check us out at the outdoor local stage around 1:20pm. More info here

Last Saturday, the John Byrne Band performed at the Amani Festival in Carlisle, PA. Next Saturday, May 12, we're performing at the Philadelphia Fleadh Irish Festival located at the Philadelphia National Guard Armory; 2700 Southampton Road; Philadelphia, PA. Our set is around 4:00pm. This will be the last chance to see the full band before John leaves on a few tours. I'm joining his Summer 2018 Mid-West Tour through Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, and Illinois. We play a different venue each night May 31-June 9.

My 2017 album, Sound Plan, has been garnering even more publicity! Music from the album has appeared on a few podcasts and the album has been featured/reviewed by a couple sites:

6 May 2018 - All About Jazz "Vince Tampio: Sound Plan"
28 April 2018 - Sound Chaser "Sound Chaser #113"
25 April 2018 - Soul and Jazz and Funk "It's A Sound Plan"
17 April 2018 - Psychedelic Jukebox "Freshly Squeezed New Music 2018"
11 April 2018 - Fuzzy Sun "Uivo Zebra/Radio Déserte/Vince Tampio"
11 April 2018 - Neon Jazz "536th Show"

If you still haven't hear the music, you can listen to it via my website and on a slew of other music websites.

The winter weather is definitely behind us.
