The historic Newtown Theatre will groove to the sounds of Motown on Thursday, July 20 at 8 PM when it welcomes back York Street Hustle, a 10-piece, 1960s soul ensemble.

This will be the band’s fifth appearance at the theatre, each a sell-out.

In a few short years, York Street Hustle has gone from filling tiny South Street bars to repeated sell-outs at World Café Live. Their repertoire spans well over 70 songs, including more than a decade worth of Detroit, Memphis and Chicago soul.

The concession stand will be open. Beer, wine, and canned cocktails will be available for purchase before the show and during intermission.
