Newsletter - April 3

Happy Spring!

March was quite the Irish Season; a decent conclusion to a bombastic first quarter of 2018. The John Byrne Band blanketed the Greater Philadelphia area with a total of 10 public shows! This weekend just John and I are traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana to play a string of shows. If you're in that area this weekend, hit us up!

Thursday, April 5 @ 8:00pm - Nine Irish Brothers (West Lafayette)
Friday, April 6 @ 8:00pm - Nine Irish Brothers (Indianapolis)
Saturday, April 7 @ 8:00pm - Nine Irish Brothers (Lafayette)

Saturday afternoon, April 28, You Do You is performing at Some Kind of Jam 13 music and camping festival hosted by JibberJazz Productions. The event is a full weekend music & camping festival, featuring 29 musical acts on 3 stages, workshops, food & craft vendors, a kids area with activities, late-night indoor jams, light shows, fire performances, parades, yoga, and so much more! Located at the Schuylkill County Fairgrounds Pennsylvania. Our set is 3:00pm-4:30pm. We're a new wave funk rock party band known for our infectious beats and electrifying 70’s-era showmanship and we're debuting select new material from our forthcoming album.

During the rest of April I plan to further develop on my own music. The mixes are nearly finalized for the straight ahead acoustic jazz album, The Nook; then onward to mastering. Tracking is nearly finished for the jazz duo Christmas album; then onward to mixing. These two albums I plan to release later in 2018. My recent 2017 album release, Sound Plan, has been garnering publicity. Check out its latest review by Michael's Jazz Blog. If you haven't hear the music, you can listen to it via my website and on a slew of other music websites.

I'm looking forward to putting the winter weather behind us.
